— Throughout my life I’ve never had a problem with hormones ruling me or my actions. They never played any role in my life. I was a virgin until the night that Michael and I slept together for the first time. And, even then, hormones were not the reason we made love. It was purely an emotional driven need to be as close to each other as possible. We discovered later, once we’d been made aware of our past lives as Ancients, that hormones are not something Ancients really have. They only feel them when their mate is hormonal. In our case, because both of us are Ancients, there are no hormonal responses. Just a need to be as close as we possibly can be. That means there is no rush to orgasm. We can enjoy being close and together for as long as we want — which could be hours or days according to some sources. — Michael and I both had physical scars when we came to the community. Mine were healed by my doctor, Caleb McAllister, shortly after our arrival here. Wingrider technology is way more advanced than Earth technology. Then, when Michael and I were made aware of our past lives, something happened that kicked our bodies into alignment with our souls. Michael’s scars healed and both our bodies were brought back to optimum points. Both of us aged backwards a little bit and all our senses became heightened. We now have hundreds of thousands of years, or more, ahead of us — with both of us looking no more than about 25 years of age. — Despite the fact that Brian, Kelly, and I all went different directions after high school, we have all kept in touch and remained friends. Brian lives in Boston, while Kelly is in L.A. Every couple of years the three of us would pick a place to meet up for a week, where we could just hang out and have fun together. At least until last year. We were supposed to get together last year about the time Michael and his brother were breaking out of prison. We were planning for a meeting in Chicago. But then everything went to hell. I was out of contact with them for a full year. It wasn’t until we got to the community that I was able to contact both Brian and Kelly to let them know I was okay. We have a new meeting scheduled for the summer of 2016 in Calgary. We’ll spend a week together in August and then go back to our lives as normal. — I am studying so that eventually I can take up a position as a doctor in the clinic. Caleb was impressed with my ability to stay calm in a crisis situation. He said that my knowledge of human biology and physiology would be a great benefit to the community, as they’re getting more and more cases where humans need their help. I’m also learning how to treat Wingriders. Their biology and physiology are quite a bit different from humans. Even their organs are in different places. So I’m learning and preparing to take full time hours at the clinic once Michael and I are ready for time apart. I will be shadowing the other doctors at the clinic for a while until we’re all comfortable that I’m capable of doing my job without errors. I expect it’ll take a couple years after that before I’m on my own in the clinic, but I’m looking forward to the challenges and the opportunity to expand my knowledge of medicine. — Ancients have a connection to the power of the universe. They call that power the Prim. When Shadrik cleared away the mists around our souls, he was unable to tell us if we’d be able to access the Prim. He said it depended on how tightly we were connected to what we once were. From the appearance of things, Michael and I are still both very connected to the Prim. We’ve both done things on instinct that suggest we’re able to access that part of our previous lives. It will take a lot of time, and a lot of practice, but eventually we’ll be able to control our usage of the Prim with more than just instinct guiding us. I’m not sure if it’s something Shadrik will help us learn, or if it’s something that we’ll do on our own. I guess that’s something else that only time will tell us.
